CM1 helps companies prevent money laundering
Money laundering is a growing global problem. Recent developments in Europe have led to new sanctions and the demands on companies and organizations to know their customers are even more important than ever. The GoodTech company Softronic helps with its service CM1 companies to prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
Customer knowledge a cornerstone in the future
An important part of AML work is knowledge about your customers. According to legal requirements (Law, 2017:630, on measures against money laundering and financing of terrorism), companies must take steps to achieve an adequate level of KYC in a business relationship and continuously assess risk and transaction patterns of the customer.
- To make a good risk assessment, you have to know your customers well. This is where we come in as a partner. By using our system for collecting KYC information, transaction monitoring, controls against PEP and sanction registers and continuous follow-up we can simplify the AML-process, says Johan Gedda implementation project manager and quality manager for CM1.
Softronic signs partnership with VALEGA Chain Analytics regarding crypto transaction monitoring within CM1
Softronic is happy to announce a partnership with VALEGA Chain Analytics to add in the possibility for crypto transaction monitoring as part of their offering in their leading AML-platform CM1.
- By merging the two technologies, we can position ourselves for ongoing crypto adoption across our networks without the fear of illicit activities, says Sandra Madstedt, Business Manager CM1 at Softronic.

Softronic and CM1 has joined the Swedish FinTech Association
Softronic and CM1 has joined the Swedish FinTech Association as an advisory member.
We believe that trough our knowledge and experience in offering innovative digital solutions and from our AML-platform CM1 we can contribute to the development of the industry. Softronic has experience working with government officials, authorities, financial- and fintech industries to give some examples.
Upcoming release notes December 6th
In the upcoming release, we have made several improvements. You can read about all the improvements under the help pages in CM1. Release notes will be released on December 6th.
Vulnerable areas added to CM1s Risk engine
CM1 now has information about all addresses residing in the vulnerable areas defined by the Swedish Police.
There are three types of areas
- • Particularly vulnerable area
- • Vulnerable area
- • Risk area

CM1 support team
CM1 support is available at 8:00-5:00 pm and answers questions related to the service.
During the period December 23th to January 8th the support is staffed at 8-5 pm on weekdays.
However, we would like to inform you that during this time we only handle necessary and urgent support tasks.
